I’m Luna Merlini. I’m here to talk about books but first a little about myself. I’m 33 years old, I use she/they pronouns, and I identify as pansexual. I’ll most likely talk about mental health stuff in the future, I want this to be a place where different people can come together to relate to eachother and maybe explore some of the different faces of humanity through books. Mostly though, I’m here to gush about the books I love. I’m an avid reader, rather than a book worm I am a proud book dragon. I have hundreds of books and I’m excited to chat about some of them.
The book that brings me here today, and I will write a full post on it when I get the chance if anyone is interested, is “Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus. “Lessons in Chemistry” has a show on apple tv now, I haven’t watched it but the clips I’ve seen on fb got me interested so I used my latest credit in audible to download it and I’m so glad I did. I breezed through the nearly 12 hour book in just 2 days, I could’t stop. If you like books with more historic setting (1950s), female leads with strong poersonalities, precocious kids, and very good boi dogs I think you will like this book. Despite my blog title, I don’t want to go into too much detail and spoile everything in my first post so I”ll stop here for now. Let’s chat again soon. -Luna Merlini
